Help Desk Specialist

Tether’s Seattle Studio is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to join our IT team. This is onsite, 40 hours/week. You will be responsible for providing prompt first level support related to computer systems, hardware, mobile devices, printers or software with excellent customer service.  In addition, you will be in charge of patching, updating, and managing end user devices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Knowledge of IT hardware and software to support end users, including but not limited to: MacOS, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Active Directory, Office 365, Windows 10, Font management, and Graphic Printers
  • Knowledge and understanding of protecting client endpoints, MDM, and MacOS security best practices.
  • Have an awareness and understanding of VIP end user’s issues
  • Keep all business and employee information including employee matters, passwords and budgets should be held with the upmost confidentiality at all times
  • Be able to prioritize urgent requests and manage on-going issues based on IT analysis of internal issues, trends and helpdesk tickets
  • Manage the “check-out” process for all IT equipment including: laptops, tablets, hard-drives, etc
  • Work directly with all software providers and end-point manufacturers on issues and help troubleshoot
  • Assist with a variety of IT projects and initiatives tasked by IT Managed Service Provider; including endpoint systems and mobile devices. Start to independently own and manage projects while keeping the IT Managed Service Provider up to date on status, roadblocks and timing
  • Support the IT Managed Service Provider with ongoing desktop/laptop inventory and procurement for new and departing employees
  • Be current and eager to continually stay on-top of and/or ahead of emerging technologies
  • Be aware of all IT vendors and service providers
  • Approach every request or IT ticket with a timely, customer service attitude

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-3 years of experience in a MacOS environment and experience with the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, Windows 10, Font management, and Graphic Printers preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of protecting client endpoints, MDM, and MacOS security best practices.
