All was well until a power outage, then Tether disappeared from my screen and my toolbar..now I get the box that says "Cannot connect to network adapters" before I can even click on USB..Help!!!!Please!!! It was perfect until then!

Yes, the network adapter issue should be solved with the newest setupdrv.exe.
Please download from:
http://tether.com/download
I had the same thing happen today. Here's what worked for me-
I still had the download of setupdrv (if you don't, download it first.) ... so I uninstalled tether (look in programs/tether/uninstall), then shutdown and rebooted my computer, then re-installed setupdrv.
Like I say, i'm not the resident tech or anything, but the above fixed the network adapter error for me.
