Blackberry Storm speed problems

The speed is going extremely slow. It used to be faster around .49 mb but even that wasn't that fast. Now with all of these updates it's even slower. Its at .11 with full bars and EVO I just don't understand whats going on. I even used the city I live in to test and these were the results. I didn't have any other applications open on my phone. Also updated roaming too. Please help me fix this issue.

Full bar indicator does not necessary indicate full data coverage, it only indicate you have the service coverage. With CDMA service (Verizon, Sprint, etc), the voice (include SMS, MMS) are using separate network infrastructures.

Judging from your screen capture, you have extreme long latency. Assume your personal environment hasn't changed (meaning your phone, pc, apps, etc), such long latency could indicate that your data service had been relayed via many hops due to area cell infrastructure re-configuration, or your device did not register with EVDO Rev.1 (3G) network service.

Make sure your Blackberry has been updated to the most recent version 5.0.1.37 is on mine. it did run slow but after the last update it has worked well.
