When I go to the Download section on tether.com, I see a section that displays my registration code, but the BlackBerry PIN associated with it is listed as N/A. Starting the app on my device does pass the registration verification however. How can I resolve this on the website?

That's the weird thing about the app on my device. It's been a while since I had purchased this program and I don't remember putting in the registration code. Nevertheless I've wiped my device clean several times and installed the app off the computer after having saved the app to my computer and each time I've never been asked for a registration code. The website does not allow me to enter a BlackBerry PIN. The app shows 'Registered' under the License and the log is as follows:
Main screen initialized
Registration validation started
Trying public
Registered
Asking for connection type
Connecting via USB
First connection
Trying public
Successful
Trying UDP
Successful
Checking for USB connection
If you are registered then it means you may be associated to another serial number somehow.
So what should I do??
You shouldn't have to do anything. If you device says you are "Registered" there is nothing that needs to be done on your end. Unless I'm misunderstanding something?
hi can you tell me where i can find my registration code? on my bb its sayin for me to register my copy of tether with this phone and then asking for a registration code?

If it's asking you for the registration code you've already past your 7 day trial.
what happen is i downloded it to my bb last week and then downloded it to my laptop yesterday. so i have not had a chance to use it. what should i do?

Give him time, you don't have to do anything but wait for your PIN to be registered again for your trial to begin.
They stay pretty busy with registration issues and what not it seems.

No problem, keep monitoring to make sure you get your trial...it's worth the money though if your in the market. I missed the beta then I got in on two trials and then made the purchase. I haven't regretted it one bit, I'm on my second GB this month and finally getting my moneys worth from my data plan is really nice.

Could you email help@tether.com with your BlackBerry Pin number and I will extend your trial?



If you're entering your registration code on the BlackBerry it should automatically sync your BlackBerry PIN to our database.
When you enter your BlackBerry PIN are you seeing an error? Can you copy and paste your View Log from the BlackBerry Menu?
