I downloaded Tether to my phone and my Verizon netbook. When I start Tether up on my blackberry it says Status: Tether is running.
When I start Tether up on my netbook it says Status: Blackberry not found. Please connect it to the PC with a USB cable.
It is connected with a USB cable and I am not online when I am trying to connect (via VZAccess)
I figure it has to be something simple, but I cant get it to go!

Sounds like you don't have Blackberry device driver installed on the PC. You can download the drive pack drom RIM website, or by installing the Blackberry Desktop Manager. Tether has the version that includes the device driver as well. The file name is: setupdrv.exe.
