I purchased and downloaded the Tetherberry application on my laptop running Windows XP Pro. But on the BB Bold, i keep getting a communication failure error. It says that the server may be busy. and if the problem persists, then contact the service provider.
Any one got it to work on a Bold ???
I have a Bold BB running on Vista 64bit and everything works fine now.
I was running beta with no problem then purchased full version today. At first was getting message on BB that DNS address was wrong and server couldn't be found. I waited about 30 minutes and it started working ... maybe my PIN hadn't got added to server yet.
I have a Bold on AT&T in San Francisco Bay area. Works fine for my MacBook Air running Windows Vista 32 Biz Edition over BootCamp.
Works great on my bold.
Lappy running vista 64, BBerry bold on ATT in the NYC area. I had to enable all the settings in the application manager and restart the app/software a few times. Worked great
It could be because we had a lot of traffic to our site today.
I am using the Bold with vista 32 in the philadelphia area and it has been "plug and play" so far. I've made no setting adjustments. Just downloaded on both components and was up and running. Hope you get it to work. Good luck
I have a BB Bold with Windows XP and OS 4.6.0.241. When connecting my bb to my laptop it says that was unable to locate the server, close thetherberry and try again....I already unable all the other adapters in my latptop with no sucess..any suggestion?
Can you make sure that you have the proper APN settings set for your provider?
in the section options/advance options/TCP/IP the APN box is not activated and my BB is fully working...do I have to get this info? I am in Colombia and my service provider is Comcel.
Im getting a failed to locate server att.
Tried everything.....twice and more and still get the "failed to locate server" on my bb/storm, any one out there with the same issue.
Is it possible to locate the server on my storm by another route......
