Hi all,
I have a BB Storm 1- flashed to Cricket.
Everything on the BB Storm works fine.
Windows 7 Ultimate Laptop, Lenovo t500 is the connecting computer.

Cricket internet works fine on the BB Storm and I can access the internet and web pages using the Storm's built in internet browser and Cricket's included internet service.

To be clear, Cricket also has a paid for USB cellular internet service which I am not using or paying for and don't need because the phone can access the internet without this service.

I am not able to tether my BB Storm to my computer and have my computer get the internet. I have no problem connecting my BB Storm to my computer and using the USB cable. I can read the contents on my storm, I can transfer data between the computer and the storm, I can synch between my computer and storm with the BB Desktop Manager. I know the USB cable works etc.

What I cannot do is get tether to work. While I can install tether, it does not show that there is a connection. For the status on the computer it continually reads "Start Tether on the BB in USB mode" Which of course is started with tether turn on in usb mode on the BB. On the BB side it says that its always checking the License and that attemptin a connection always for status. O packets up and down.

There seems to be no connection made at all. Remember I am able to communicate fine in other application with my usb cable and the computer either straight using the windows explorer or through the BB Desktop Manager.

So has anybody ever gotten this kind of setup to work.
Specifically can someone help me get tether working on my flashed BB Storm 1 using Cricket and how do I do it and what settings do I need.

All detailed instructions would be greatly appreciated...

Thank you.

There is a new version that will be coming out soon that will hopefully fix this issue.
