BB 8900 "failed to locate server"

I've got a BB8900, I've downloaded and installed Tetherberry on my phone and PC both without any problems. Tetherberry on the PC sees the BB but the BB says "failed to locate the server"

I have set the TCP to the appropriate setting for my carrier which is Rogers by the way. All the permissions are correct as well but I'm still getting the fail to connect.

any ideas?
