This product does not work with MAC and Android. I have worked with support for nearly six months to get the problems resolved and nothing. When I asked them to refund my money, they said it's outside of their 30 day policy. GET YOUR MONEY BACK NOW!!!!!!!!

O.k., I restarted the computer, but got the same result. But then I opened "Network Preferences" and used the "Assist me" icon to create a new connection, but while doing that the browser went up and suddenly I'm connected. speed is 180kb+ down and 222kb up... nothing to write home about... but it works...
My experience on the Mac with OSX Lion is that the Tether app running on the mac kept crashing. I finally got it to work after several tries, but it is inconsistent. Any ideas?
Seems I wasted the 14.00. Thought I was lucky to get the iphone app from the app store before it was pulled.. But after downloading the Mac app to my macbook pro 2010 version and following the instructions all I get is the mac application quitting 20 seconds after it gets the connection to the iphone. Total waste of time and money.
Got the iPhone app just in time. Couldn't get to work last night - got it working tonight. So far, so good, except that it got stuck at this forum. :-\ Seems to work even when iPhone blacks out.
Details:
iPhone: 3G - iOS 4.2.1
Mac: MBP3,1 - OS X 10.6.7
Packets: ~2300 up, ~2900 down
While the good times last, I'm especially grateful to the Tether folks for not culling out the 3G.
:-)
It's been working fine for me the entire afternoon (internet/power is down, but I have my laptop hooked up in a building powered by a generator). It wouldn't activate shortly after I bought it, but I assumed that's just because the server here was being hammered.
Packets seem a little bursty, but I've only had to reset it once in hours. If something goes wrong, restart both the mobile and desktop apps, and be sure to keep the mobile app in the foreground (though you can have your phone sleep).
Hello,
I'm very sorry for the inconveniences caused earlier this week, but there was a major outage which has long since been cleared up.

I just downloaded the iphone version from the app store ($14.+) and the new mac application. The mac application says "connected to the iphone" and the iphone app says "connected over usb". However, no packets are received...Have anyone had any luck with this?
I have a macbook pro with os/x lion and an iphone 4s running 5.0.1...
