I just purchased TetherBerry for my Storm today but I will not be getting my laptop for another month or so. Will this be a problem? It might come with Snow Leopard. Will this be a problem?
1 month before I can use TB, problem?
I have personally tested the latest beta release with the previous version of Mac OS X (10.5.7) and have been using Snow Leopard (such a great name! 10.5.8) all day now, no problems, no glitches thus far.
FYI: I use HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, SFTP, SMTP, IMAP and IMAPS protocols extensively.
A-a-and, I need to reply to myself on this one:
IMPORTANT UPDATE:
10.5.7 is NOT Snow Leopard.
10.6.x IS Snow Leopard.
I upgraded two 13" MacBooks (Black and White) from 10.5.7 (Tetherberry works great) to 10.6 (Snow Leopard) using the clean-install procedure today and as soon as the connection looks like it's going to establish, both systems will consistently crash, requiring hard reset each time.
Would like to assist in any way I can. Not a programmer, but if you could walk me through obtaining a traceback, debugging or whatever else, I can certainly help out.
Also, for some reason, I received two order confirmations ("thanks for paying!") but only received my activation credentials for the other account. :(
P.S. I'm totally being a (hopefully helpful) guinea pig! I have a consistent crash on two Snow Leopard machines, is that a useful behavior?
We are currently working on a Snow Leopard version.
Also in regards to your two emails. You should have received two emails, one for the order confirmation and one with your account details. Did you accidentally order twice?

No this won't be a problem. We haven't tested it yet on Snow Leopard.
